Developed the growth strategy for Firefox Desktop first-run onboarding integrating company OKRs, user needs, market research and data insights from experiment learnings
Increased DAU by 8.9% in an experiment for Windows users who did not have Firefox pinned to dock by adding a pinning option to the first screen in first-run onboarding, which was brought into production
Established add-ons as a growth lever for first-run onboarding through an experiment that increased two week retention by 0.5%, which led to a screen in first-run onboarding for all English locale users to install recommended add-ons with 1 click
Surveyed Firefox Desktop users in first-run onboarding and discovered two growth opportunity areas: 1) a higher percentage of net new users ∼20-40% installing Firefox Desktop as compared to the previous measure of 7%, informing our product strategy to personalize the first-run onboarding experience based on user experience level and 2) ∼1/3 of users use Firefox for more than 1 use case, informing our product strategy to personalize first-run onboarding for these users with task management features
Coordinated, wrote and distributed company-wide quarterly updates for Firefox Desktop and Mobile growth learnings
